SUMMARY

We are seeking an IT Manager with 5+ years of experience to lead and manage all aspects of our IT infrastructure and other supported services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience with IT management in a predominantly Microsoft environment. This role will require hands‑on involvement with hardware and software systems, network security and providing IT support to employees.

This opportunity also requires in‑depth knowledge of the Epicor Kinetic ERP platform to create design solutions and implement changes to enhance business processes and improve system performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibilities: Responsible for the maintenance of all computer hardware and software systems; the control of all assigned electronic media; stored documentation and the upgrade or change of all computer hardware and software. Responsible for the installation and maintenance of the internal phone system.
  • Development and Customization: Design, develop, and implement customizations and enhancements in the Epicor ERP system using C#, BPM, BAQ, SSRS and other tools within the Epicor framework.
  • System Integration: Integrate Epicor with other internal and external systems to ensure seamless data flow and communication between different platforms. Work with third party add‑ons to Epicor such as Avalara, Quick Ship and Bartender.
  • Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their needs, analyze business processes, and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Technical Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for software‑related issues, including diagnosing problems, identifying solutions, and implementing fixes in a timely manner.
  • Data Management: Create and manage reports, dashboards, and data extracts using SQL, SSRS, and other reporting tools to meet business requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of all customizations, configurations, and development work to ensure clarity and continuity for future development and support.
  • Training and Support: Assist in training users on new functionalities and best practices within the Epicor system.
  • Project Management: Participate in or lead ERP‑related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals and timelines, including but not limited to transitioning our current ERP software over to Epicor.
  • Revision Upgrades: Test and perform Epicor revision upgrades as needed when released by Epicor.
  • Epicor System Security: Set up and maintain user accounts. Maintaining software security.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises and oversees the activities of the MIS Coordinator.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

A bachelor degree in CS or MIS/Business Management as well as 5-10 years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency supporting multiple Microsoft servers and workstations in an Active Directory environment. Experience with Epicor tools such as BPM, BAQ and SSRS. Epicor certifications are a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Practice utilization of college level Algebra.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to understand and resolve technical problems/situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physical demands for this role include regularly sitting for extended periods of time, standing, walking, and lifting/carrying a minimum of 20lbs, reaching, pushing, kneeling, and pulling.
