Product Manager – Electronics

Hampton, NJ

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Product Manager Electronics to join our team. This highly influential individual contributor position is responsible for the product management of the Linde Electronic Gases business, including development and execution of the Electronic Specialty Gases (ESG) segment strategy, product development, R&D collaboration, OEM and vendor selection, and overall product offering.

What you will be doing
  • Understand the ESG product line marketplace, customer needs, technical alternatives, demand drivers, industry capacity, market share, and competitor pricing.
  • Bridge the activities of sales, engineering, purchasing and operations.
  • Create tactical product line roadmap proposals for the ESG product portfolio based upon existing product volume, scope and new product requirements.
  • Execute on new product features and functionality in partnership with engineering and operations.
  • Assist in developing and driving the implementation of pricing strategies.
  • Support the sales team in responding to RFQs and other customer product requests.
  • Lead cost reviews and margin analysis to support sales.
  • Develop and gain approval for business cases for fleet additions and capacity upgrades for future business opportunities.
  • Review and align ESG product specifications and adjustments to meet customer needs, including SQC and analytical comparisons.
  • Coordinate source changes with sales operations and engineering.
  • Support forward‑looking investments into major product expansions and new growth areas, serving as Project Business Lead (PBL) for major investment cases.
  • Responsible for the budget of the ESG product line.
  • Develop business continuity plans that align with current and future product demand needs across all Linde Electronics products.
  • Work with purchasing to manage vendor relationships, supply‑chain performance, cost, quality, fill rate, contract management and freight, ensuring contracts protect the supply chain and plan alternative sourcing strategies.
  • Work with operations and engineering to ensure production capacity meets current and future demands, and that assets, spare‑parts planning and inventory meet BCP requirements.
  • Work with logistics to align stocking and delivery.
  • Work with quality and operations to meet product‑specific customer needs.
  • Identify, evaluate and present merger‑and‑acquisition opportunities to senior management, working closely with Corporate and LG&E M&A groups.
