Position: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) - Riverside Medical Health & Recovery Center - Hampton, Virginia

* Key Responsibilities:

* ** Clinical Duties (50%):
*** Provide patient care in a Psychiatric Emergency Department, Mental Health Outpatient Clinic or Inpatient facility for those with a primary mental health or substance use need.
* Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage psychotropic medications
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
* Maintain compliance with DBHDS and DNV standards***
* ** Leadership Duties (50%):
*** Oversee medical staff administration and quality improvement initiatives
* Lead strategic planning and implementation of clinical programs
* Enhance Epic EHR workflows and data analytics
* Mentor providers and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and drive performance metrics
*
* Qualifications:

**
* ** Doctor of Medicine (MD)
** or
** Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
** in Psychiatry –
* Required
* * Board Certification in Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine –
* Required
* * Licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia –
* Required within 60 days
** Valid DEA registration –
* Required at hire
** CPI Advanced Skills –
* Required within 14 days of hire
** MBA, MHA, MMM, or MPH –
* Preferred
* * 7–10 years of clinical experience with increasing administrative responsibility –
* Preferred
