*** This role focuses on providing Psychiatric Emergency care to individuals who may have a diagnosable mental health condition as defined by the
** DSM-V-TR**.Our facility includes the Commonwealth's only Psychiatric Emergency Department, an acute Mental Health and Recovery Center with
** 70 adult beds and 20 adolescent beds**, and an on-campus Outpatient Mental Health Clinic offering a collaborative environment where psychiatrists work alongside
** Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), licensed clinicians, nursing staff, and fellow psychiatrists**.

Responsibilities include:

* Following EMTALA in caring for patients presenting to the Psychiatric ED
* Participating in multi-disciplinary treatment rounds
* Completing documentation in
** EPIC**, our electronic medical record system

* ** Doctoral Degree in Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) –

* ** 1–3 years of residency completion or demonstrated experience in psychiatry –

* * Valid DEA registration for controlled substances –
