Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced engineer to set up & maintain lab infrastructure for private 5G LAN and Wi‑Fi networks and to execute tests on our connected device products in both lab and customer environments. Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Setup & Maintenance.
  • Configure & maintain Private 5G LAN and Wi‑Fi networks in lab environments.
  • Install & update software on our connected devices for testing.
  • Testing.
  • Create test strategies and test cases for functionality and performance of devices connected by 5G/Wi‑Fi/802.15.4.
  • Execute test cases and record all findings in the defect management system.
  • Troubleshooting.
  • Travel to customer sites where needed.
  • Characterize problems found with products or with environments.
  • Collect logs and further details to enable solutions to problems found.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or Telecommunications.
  • 5+ years experience in network infrastructure setup and testing of connected products.
  • 2+ years experience in private 5G
  • 5+ years experience in Wi‑Fi.
  • Hands‑on experience with Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experience installing and configuring software across multiple platforms.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem characterization.
Preferences
  • Experience in testing devices communicating with 802.15.4 or Zigbee.
Core Competencies
  • Excellent communication and problem reporting skills to interact with external and with internal teams.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
  • Hybrid

The total pay range for this role, including incentive opportunities, is $,000. The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that include a candidate’s skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and geographic location. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive (discretionary/nondiscretionary) annual bonuses and incentive compensation.
