DescriptionTeam Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring a CAD Technician for our Professional Services Group's (PSG) Hampton, VA office.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with engineering, right of way, land survey and permitting staff to produce high quality graphics.
- Verbally communicate specifications and directions to and from the design team.
- Complete markups.
- Prepare reports/graphics.
- Set up and prepare plans.
- Provide assistance with submittals.
- Maintain QA/QC processes and requirements.
- Travel regionally between PSG offices as needed.
- Experience with electrical distribution design and/or utility design is a plus.
- AutoCAD knowledge, experience, and skills.
- Experience with markups and graphics preparation.
- Ability to contribute to plan setup and preparation.
- Experience with submittals and QA/QC processes.
- Ability to travel regionally between PSG offices.
