Electrical Design Technician at Jacobs
Base pay range: $66,000.00 - $90,800.00 per year
ResponsibilitiesYour role involves collaborating with Revit Technicians, Designers, Engineers and Architects to design and draft drawings for various facility projects. You will apply Revit and AutoCAD skills to prepare construction drawings for MEP systems, manage work‑sets, control visibility, and use parameters within Revit families and schedules. The position supports our data center design team and contributes to building impactful, sustainable infrastructure.
Qualifications- At least 7 years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD for building‑related designs.
- BS Degree reduces this requirement by 1-2 years.
- Proficient in creating and updating templates and project set‑up in Revit.
- Familiar with working with central files and local files.
- Able to manage work‑sets, control visibility, and use various parameters in Revit families and schedules.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong skills with Revit 2017 & 2018, BIM
360, Autodesk, BIM 360 Glue, and Navisworks. - US Citizenship.
