Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, with evenings and weekends as needed.

Annual Salary: $51,253.

Location: Onsite in the cities of Hampton and Newport News.

Join a full‑time Mobile Crisis Therapist I with the Traumatic Event Response Team. This role provides immediate support and interventions to individuals experiencing traumatic events in their communities.

• Conduct brief assessments at the site of incidents for individuals and community partners serving children and adults.
• Guide timely referrals to clinical services, ensuring necessary support is arranged efficiently.
• Respond to crises after hours and on weekends, directly impacting the lives of those in distress.
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while working under pressure.

• Master’s degree in a human services‑related field.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities.
• Proficiency in software/tools required for documentation and referral processes.
• Must pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening, and employment reference checks.
