* Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Primary Care Department at Baptist Primary Care South Hampton in St Augustine, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity.

This position is for Baptist Primary Care South Hampton. The candidate’s responsibilities back office tasks, such as assisting provider, triaging and rooming patients.

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical part of visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals
• Additional responsibilities may be required based upon office needs

Full/Part Time Full-Time Shift Details Days

• High School Diploma/GED

• Associate’s Degree

• 2 years Patient Care Experience
• Experience in Physician’s office

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Preferred
