Emergency Department Technician - Part-time

Overview

Sentara Careplex Hospital located in Hampton, VA is hiring an ED Tech for the Emergency Department.

City/State: Hampton, VA

Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Schedule: Part‑time, 24 hours per week, rotating weekends

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification: EMT‑B with state or national certification at time of hire
• OR successful completion of U.S. Military Hospital Corps School, qualified MMAC candidates
• OR current student enrolled in a clinical program (RN, LPN, Respiratory, Physical Therapy) having completed at least one semester within the program

• Perform lab draws and EKGs
• Assist nurses and doctors with patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide high‑quality teamwork and support to ensure the best care for patients
