Direct Support Professional Residential

Job Description

Responsible for assisting with the physical care, guidance and supervision of intellectually disabled individuals in the residential setting and out in the community. Performs activities and duties to help individuals develop acceptable habits and attitudes; helps the individuals meet the outcomes of any service or behavioral plan; ensures daily needs and health and safety of the individual are met; assists individuals with daily hygiene and personal living skills;

completes data collection in accord with person‑centered plan; responds quickly and appropriately to unpredictable behavior and circumstances. Other duties as required. If you are a caregiver, this is the position for you.

• High school or equivalent (Required)
• DSP or CNA or PCA: 2 years (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)

Residential:
Available Hours - 3pm – 11pm, 11pm – 7am / Mon – Fri & Every Other Weekends

• High school diploma, GED, or 1 year of documented experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities, Alzheimer’s, dementia, special education, etc. (Preferred)
• Valid driver license, liability auto insurance and social security card
• Must pass criminal background investigation
• Must be fully vaccinated or screened for immunization

Full‑time or Part‑time

• 8 & 12 hour shifts
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Driver's license (Required)
• CPR certification (Preferred)

DSP/PCA/CNA: 1 year experience.
