Strata Critical Recovery (formerly Keystone Perfusion) isseeking a Staff Perfusionist to join a collaborative, multi-site cardiac team serving community hospitals throughout the Hampton Roads region of coastal Virginia. As a float perfusionist, you'll rotate between community hospital accounts across the region, keeping your practice dynamic while enjoying a manageable volume of approximately 150 open heart procedures annually.
Location: Multiple locations - Hampton Roads region of coastal Virginia
Compensation: $145,000 – $185,000 depending on experience +$10,000 Sign-On Bonus
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Days + On-Call Rotation
- Performing cardiopulmonary bypass and autotransfusion
- Managing IABP and minimal ECMO support
- CABG and valve surgeries (~150 procedures annually) — no VADs or transplants
- Floating between community hospital accounts throughout the Hampton Roads region
- Collaborating with anesthesia, surgery, and nursing teams
- Upholding best practices in equipment safety, infection control, and patient care
- Assisting with quality control and departmental development
- Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion program
- ABCP Certified (or board eligible)
- BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
