Join our team and discover why we are a top veteran employer and Certified Great Place to Work™ ASRC Federal Technology Solutions LLC is currently a seeking qualified candidate with an Secret clearance to support our U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) under the SEC SETA Program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD as a Service Now Business Analyst - Senior in support of the PEO Enterprise Service Now Platform Team .
The Enterprise Service Now Platform Team is a critical enabler of the Army's modernization strategy, delivering enterprise IT service management and workflow automation capabilities across the force. The SME Senior provides functional leadership, business analysis, and user engagement to ensure the platform meets Army requirements and enhances mission effectiveness. Responsibilities:
* Serve as a functional and subject matter expert on the Service Now platform, with deep knowledge of its capabilities and use cases.
* Work directly with Army stakeholders and system users to capture business requirements, document needs, and translate them into functional specifications for developers.
* Support Help Desk ticket triage, user inquiries, and platform issue resolution.
* Develop functional documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
* Lead organizational studies and process improvement initiatives to optimize Army workflows using Service Now.
* Support testing and validation of Service Now solutions, ensuring alignment with user requirements and Army standards.
* Advise leadership on Service Now adoption strategies, best practices, and opportunities for expanding platform use.
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of 8-10 years supporting IT systems or enterprise applications in requirements, testing, or functional consulting roles.
* At least 1 year of hands-on Service Now requirements gathering, functional documentation, or Help Desk support experience.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team lead capacity.
* Strong knowledge of Service Now platform functionality, workflows, and user engagement.
* Active DoD Secret clearance. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered. Preferred Skills/
Certifications:
* Service Now System Administrator (CSA) or Business Analyst certification.
* Experience supporting Army or DoD IT systems.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational change management skills.
