Network/Systems Administrator (Directory Services)

Job Responsibilities- Server management including deployment, security posture, and core service verification
- Account management including group, permissions, and basic configuration
- GPO management using NetIQ Group Policy Administrator (GPA) and native tools
- RSAT tool experience
- DNS record management
- DHCP server configuration and management
- Patching and DISA STIG implementation to maintain compliance
- Sites and services management
- Remedy ticketing system
- Manage servers in VMware virtual environments
- Troubleshooting core services including replication and domain trusts
- Power Shell script deployment and creation
- Solid understanding of client/server, networking, and internet fundamentals
- Experience with Windows Server 2012 or higher
- Active Directory administration expertise
- Strong knowledge of GPOs, account management, domains and trusts, DNS, DHCP, and server management
- Power Shell scripting proficiency
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Hybrid on‑prem and cloud environment experience
- Extensive working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Windows server deployment
- Strong troubleshooting background with minimal supervision
- Group Policy Administrator (GPA) understanding
- Experience with STIG, patching, and compliance
- Enterprise level environment management
- VMware virtualization technologies
- Azure cloud environment experience
- Mentorship skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in
- • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or higher deployment
- • Domain Controller deployment, configuration, and management
- • Account management using Active Directory on‑prem and Azure cloud environments
- • Server management including Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
- Required
- Security+ or other qualifying IAT II certification
- Microsoft AZ-900:
Azure Fundamentals or ability to obtain within 90 days - Desired
- Microsoft AZ-800:
Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure
- Active Secret Clearance required
