Overview
GovCIO is hiring a Project Manager for Zero Trust integration with the US Air Force. This full‑time on‑site position is located in Hampton, VA.
Responsibilities- Lead Zero Trust enterprise integration efforts supporting Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ ACC/A2) at Joint Base Langley‑Eustis.
- Translate business requirements into actionable tasks, ensuring solutions meet customer needs and achieve acceptance.
- Manage multiple IT projects concurrently within a deadline‑driven environment while fostering strong client relationships and negotiating Service Level Agreements.
- Utilize PMI project management certifications and best practice methodologies to ensure project success.
Education
High School with 6‑9 years of experience (or commensurate experience).
Clearance
TS/SCI required.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT project management roles, with the ability to develop solutions for medium complexity technical challenges.
- Understanding of data center environments and equipment, with effective communication with IT professionals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel, with a track record of creating and maintaining project management standards and documentation.
- Experience delivering presentations and briefings related to project progress to clients and management.
- Active PMP Certification.
- Experience working with the DoD Intelligence Community.
- Experience with DoD NIPR, SIPR and JWICS Networks.
- Background in technical writing, capable of producing project plans, functional requirements, and detailed schedules.
- Experience with Zero Trust Fundamentals.
