Job Summary

The Unit Support Readiness Analyst provides unit and force-level general purpose intelligence support to all ACC units. Uses analytical tools and TTP, applications, databases, and web-enabled capabilities to provide units with information and tools necessary to support operations. Uses knowledge of and experience with AF intelligence operations to identify problem sets, trends, and pattern analyses of unit readiness; coordinate staff input across functional areas;

compile data; deliver assessments of unit readiness; and accomplish wartime tasks. Tracks ULI readiness by posturing the Intelligence Enterprise for Agile Combat Employment (ACE). Travel will be required, possibly frequently, as part of the readiness assessment team to observe and identify shortfalls. Facilitates identification of intelligence-related tasks including, but not limited to, systems, software, training, and manpower and shall track identified issues through resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze DoD policy and program documents for consistency, accuracy, compliance to existing guidance, and thoroughness and be able to assess during unit readiness visits.
  • Conduct staff assistance, unit engagements, and readiness assessment visits, providing hands-on evaluations and training to ACC units in support of their wartime mission and provide written AARs within five duty days.
  • Lead unit readiness processes through visits and virtual meetings, synchronize input across ACC staff in partnership with Higher Headquarters (HHQ) and other organizations as required.
  • Review and conduct trend analysis on unit self-assessment and Inspector General Inspection data.
  • Monitor unit issues and concerns by tracking and providing unit intelligence data for inclusion on A2 unit-support websites.
  • Assist with all A2 Intelligence forums including, but not limited to, the annual unit-level working groups, semi-annual Lead Wing Working Groups, quarterly SIO/Supe Syncs, monthly ISR Leadership Orientation Course, and other ACC unit intelligence working groups, as necessary.
  • Assist in evolving deployed and reach back Contingency Intelligence Network capabilities, focusing on scalability, reliability, flexibility, and efficiency.
  • Assist in updating ACE CONEMP theater, functional, and equipment annexes and align readiness visits for OT&E investments prior to entering unit AF Force Generation (AFFORGEN) Ready/Available phases.
  • Coordinate with SIOs/SELs to submit UFRs and administer the FoJ funding program.
  • Assist Unit Support and Readiness Team Chief in maintaining and strengthening relationships with other MAJCOM and NAF staff.
  • Assist in tracking after-action items from all working groups and engagements and act as team facilitator via EPMS.
  • Attend and provide feedback from ULI Targeting Forums, and ULI Geo-Spatial/GEOINT Meetings.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
  • 10 years' experience.
  • Experience with Unit Readiness analytical tools and TTP, applications, databases, and web-enabled capabilities.
  • Experience with AF intelligence operations and ability to identify problem sets, trends, and pattern analyses of unit readiness.
  • Experience with the Intelligence Enterprise for Agile Combat Employment (ACE).
  • Must possess a valid US passport.
  • TS/SCI current clearance.
Education

Bachelor9s degree.
