Directional Drill Supervisor, Hampton

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring a Supervisor to oversee Directional Drill crews and projects in the Hampton, VA area.

• Ensure accuracy of timesheets and expense reports.
• Develop work-around procedures to maintain crew productivity during delays caused by other trades, customers, lack of materials, absenteeism, etc.
• Monitor Quality Assurance to ensure installations meet customer specifications and industry standards.
• Ensure safety practices are observed by all crews during their work.
• Report, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of a project.
• Perform site surveys for estimates, proposal preparation, or quality assurance, potentially working independently.

• Valid CDL Class A License highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience supervising underground construction projects, with demonstrated experience as a Directional Drill Operator or Locator.
• Experience working from blueprints and specifications.
• Limited travel required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
