Overview
MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their commercial team with 2 Commercial Manager's for our Thames Water framework. Based between Coppermills and Hampton where you will provide leadership and management to the commercial delivery teams and core team commercial functions for our business.
Responsibilities- Commercial management to drive commercial excellence into project delivery ensuring accuracy of forecasts and protection of fee at all times.
- Develop and foster relationships with client and subcontractors alike to aide delivery and contract negotiation.
- Provide commercial support to procurement team ensuring at all time value for money.
- Negotiate contracts with client ensuring adherence to MWHT's governance.
- Continuous review of commercial resource levels playing an active part in recruitment to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
- Support the Senior Commercial Manager in providing contractual and commercial training to all staff in the region.
- Support the Senior Commercial Manager in review and continuous development of commercial processes and procedures.
- Undertake approvals and other processes in accordance with the MWHT authority matrix.
- Deputise for the Senior Commercial Manager as and when required.
Extensive commercial experience within a contracting environment and significant experience as Managing QS or above. Degree qualified or equivalent in a related subject. Significant experience of managing a successful commercial team. Experience at senior management level, you will be able to demonstrate leadership qualities that promote an environment for excellence. Experience & Knowledge of IT reporting systems. Proficient in contract management and risk assessment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
