Production Worker - Howmet

Position Purpose

Assist in the manufacturing of goods on an assembly line or individually. Assemble or disassemble component pieces of a variety of items, organize work, and assure high quality and high quantity output. Operate and maintain equipment used in a safe manner according to instructions.

• Assemble products and parts
• Follow production guidelines and specifications
• Finalize and package products for shipment
• Operate and maintain machinery and production line equipment
• Monitor the assembly line and remove faulty products
• Work on the production line to meet production targets
• Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met
• Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure production quotas and deadlines are met
• Increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
• Conduct inspections and quality control of products
• Assist with lifting, carrying, and moving heavy loads
• Maintain a clean work area equipment
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
• Follow written and verbal instructions provided by supervisor
• Monitors materials flowing through the production process
• Remain current on all safety and production trainings
• Promote a positive and professional environment
• Operate company transportation, including commercial truck, forklift, and electric pallet jack
• Communicate appropriately with customers, contractors, and company representatives during daily business

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Some prior work experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred, but not necessary.
