The Proposal Writer and Storyteller is a wordsmith with a knack for transforming complex information into compelling narratives and crafting stories that not only win bids but also resonate across the entire organization. The role shapes Bill Gosling’s voice and brings the company’s impact to life for every audience, from potential clients to BGO internal teams.

• Lead the development of highly persuasive and tailored proposals, bids, and grant applications.
• Collaborate closely with departments across the organization—marketing, sales, product development, HR, and leadership—to identify key storytelling opportunities and develop engaging content.
• Champion a consistent brand voice and overarching narrative across all communications.
• Conduct thorough research and insightful interviews with internal subject matter experts and clients to uncover compelling details and unique perspectives.
• Meticulously edit and proofread all written materials for accuracy, clarity, grammatical precision, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Tailor messages and storytelling approaches to effectively connect with diverse audiences.
• Identify opportunities to improve content development and proposal writing processes, tools, and materials, and build a dynamic content library.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, deadlines, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Champion company core values and programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

This role can be based in Canada (Barrie, London (Ontario) & Montreal) or the USA (Hampton, Virginia). We consider onsite, hybrid, or fully remote schedules for the right candidate.

Starting salary range between CAD/USD 50,000–60,000 (Depending on Experience).

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in proposal writing, corporate communications, content strategy, or a related field where storytelling is a core responsibility. Experience with in a B2B, BPO, or tech‑enabled services environment is a significant plus.
