*** Riverside Medical Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Riverside Mental Health & Recovery Center in Hampton, Virginia.
** Role Overview:
** As part of our expanding specialty network, we are recruiting Nurse Practitioners for various locations.

We specialize in hospital-based psychiatric and substance abuse services, helping adolescents and adults manage behavioral health issues. Our Admissions team offers confidential, comprehensive assessments and referral assistance. Our team of experienced, compassionate psychiatrists and mental health professionals provides a wide range of services, including:
* Crisis intervention
* Intensive treatment program (ITP)
* Adult psychiatric services (APSY)
* Inpatient detoxification services
* Dual diagnosis services
Our acute services offer short-term crisis care for adolescents aged 12 to 17 who require emergency intervention due to psychiatric difficulties. These services are suitable for adolescents with a recent history of being a threat to themselves, others, or property, or those with impaired functioning due to mental health or substance abuse issues. We aim to address acute symptoms and transition patients to a lower level of care in the community.
** Services Include:

*** Nurse Practitioner - Master's in Nursing

* Hold a current, valid state of Virginia medical license or be eligible for one
* Have a valid DEA controlled substance registration

* Preferred Qualifications:
*** Ability to make independent decisions regarding patient care
* Experience in diagnosing and treating common medical conditions
* Basic working knowledge of managed care and Medicare population
* Pleasant speaking voice and demeanor
