First (Days) – 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
Weekend:
Rotate
. Weekly scheduled hours: 36.
As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you will assess/admit patients, perform rounding checks, give medications, communicate with families, and oversee overall patient care in the Medical Oncology unit. Teamwork is integral to delivering the best care.

Licensing & Certification- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- RN-Associate’s Degree or
- RN-Bachelor’s Degree or
- RN-Diploma or
- RN-Master’s Degree
- Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy drugs (certification required after 6 months).
- Provide pre/post-surgical care.
- Deliver hospice and palliative care.
- Manage sickle cell patients.
- Other oncology unit duties as assigned.
