. Weekly scheduled hours: 36.

As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you will assess/admit patients, perform rounding checks, give medications, communicate with families, and oversee overall patient care in the Medical Oncology unit. Teamwork is integral to delivering the best care.

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire

• RN-Associate’s Degree or
• RN-Bachelor’s Degree or
• RN-Diploma or
• RN-Master’s Degree

• Administer chemotherapy/biotherapy drugs (certification required after 6 months).
• Provide pre/post-surgical care.
• Deliver hospice and palliative care.
• Manage sickle cell patients.
• Other oncology unit duties as assigned.
