RN Traveler PCU​/Stepdown Intermediate Care

Sentara Care Plex Hospital located in Hampton, Virginia is hiring a Traveler for a Temporary Full Time Registered Nurse on the Intermediate Care / Stepdown Unit. Night Shift Pay $70/hour. Click on the link to learn more about the IMCU Team.

This 24-bed Unit cares for patients with a variety of healthcare needs. We are the designated Stroke Unit. We provide care for respiratory compromised patients on Bipap, High-flo and/or Chronic Long Term vents. We manipulate and titrate vasoactive infusions and have bedside monitors. We provide care for patients with DKA, CHF, Pneumonia, and much more.

Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required.

Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing. Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS.

Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.

This position’s primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients.
