Responsibilities- Collaborate with a staff psychiatrist to assist with the prescription, administration, and monitoring of client medications.
- Conduct in‑depth assessments to determine the appropriate medical and nursing care for each individual.
- Develop and evaluate individualized treatment plans, ensuring safe and accurate medication management.
- Coordinate medical services, including referrals, transportation, and medical appointments.
- Provide supportive counseling to clients and families, and offer crisis intervention and emergency services when necessary.
- RN License issued by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
- At least one year of behavioral health experience.
- Willingness to register as a QMHP‑A trainee within the first 30 days of employment.
- Valid Virginia Driver’s License.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide crisis intervention and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
