Overview:
Sentara Care Plex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medicine Unit. There are promotional opportunities into leadership or to advance care in various settings. This position’s primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, communicating with families, and ensuring overall patient care. Strong teamwork is emphasized to provide the best patient care.

License and Certification
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
Education
- RN-Associate's Degree, or
- RN-Bachelor's Degree, or
- RN-Diploma, or
- RN-Master's Degree
The Medicine Unit - 4 James is looking for qualified nurses who will provide care to acute and chronic care patients with a variety of comorbidities from ages 18 and up, with a special focus on senior care.
