MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YRS OF RECENT ED RN BEDSIDE EXPERIENCE

$70 per /hour

• Education:
  
  Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required.

• Contract:
  
  14 week temporary contract, 36 hrs/week.
• Certification/Licensure:
  Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing;
  Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS; PALS.
• Experience:
  
  Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN ER experience.

Responsibilities include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and overall care responsibility. The emergency department has 43 beds with 11 fast‑track beds.

Sentara Care Plex Hospital in Hampton, VA is a 224‑bed technologically advanced acute‑care facility, certified primary stroke center, with specialized services. It has one of the state’s busiest EDs with 43 beds.
