Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - PACU.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required in a Pre Op / PACU setting & ortho experience is a plus
This is a FULL TIME / TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 7:00AM-6:00PM, Monday through Friday. 4 X 10 hour shifts. Client is a Surgery Center - some days are shorter and some days are longer....the 4 work days will vary week to week but they always will be between Monday and Friday. No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays, No call - located in Hampton, VA (23666).
Responsibilities- You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Required:
1+ years experience as a Registered Nurse in a Pre Op / PACU setting - Required:

- $38.00-$44.00 / hr (depending on experience level)
