The job of a sales associate is to sell merchandise to customers in a professional and ethical manner, functioning as part of a team at Fallon’s Home and Hearth. The sales associate has specific duties most of which relate to providing top quality customer service and complete customer satisfaction. To receive a satisfactory rating in a performance appraisal, the sales associate must also meet specific sales and average transaction goals.

• Welcomes customers and determines specific customer needs
• Provides customers with a detailed, knowledgeable presentation
• Utilizes Fallon’s sales stage practices
• Works with customers to determine and suggest best product for their needs
• Provides communication with the client promptly and efficiently by desired communication (e‑mail, phone or in person meeting)
• Maintains showroom standards and best practices
• Assists the Sales Operations Supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently, follow up and meet deadlines
• Possess a willingness to learn and problem solve
• Must be reliable and flexible
• Display a professional appearance

• Two years’ experience in sales
• Two years’ experience in customer service

• Stand and/or sit for extended periods of time
• Working for periods of time on a computer
