The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and instrumentation. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and programming principles, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced field environment.
Responsibilities- Perform installation, configuration, and testing of industrial control systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software‑related issues in automated systems.
- Interpret wiring schematics, technical manuals, and diagrams for installation.
- Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other technicians to ensure seamless system integration.
- Document all service activities, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations accurately and on time.
- Provide clear and effective communication with clients regarding service status and resolutions.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.
- Be available for travel to project sites as needed.

Requirements Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent;
Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field preferred. - 2‑5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation and control systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens).
- Experience with HMI/SCADA software and programming tools.
- Familiarity with VFDs.
- In‑depth understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, control circuits, and instrumentation.
- Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints, wiring schematics, and diagrams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Able to pass a drug screen for federal contractor requirements.
- Hold a valid driver's license with clean driving record.
