Hyundai Genesis Service Technician

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician with a strong background in working on Hyundai Genesis vehicles to join Classic Hyundai of Hampton in Hampton, Virginia. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Hyundai Genesis vehicles to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Hyundai Genesis vehicles, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues
• Utilize diagnostic tools and technology to accurately diagnose and repair vehicles
• Communicate with customers regarding repairs and provide estimates for cost and repair timeline
• Document all repairs and maintain accurate records
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Keep up-to-date on the latest Hyundai Genesis technology and updates
• Assist in training and mentoring less experienced technicians

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1-3 years of experience working on Hyundai Genesis vehicles
• Current ASE certifications or willingness to obtain them
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and technology
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
