ResponsibilitiesSeeking a versatile software engineer with TS/SCI US Government security clearance and FSP to join a small agile team designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable software solutions for government customers. The team is fast‑paced, collaborative, and cohesive, and depends on team members to communicate openly and to design solutions and deliver quality models on a regular, aggressive clip. The software engineering will translate mission requirements into technical specifications and implement robust, maintainable code.
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality and security compliance. Support Dev Sec Ops pipelines and CI/CD processes for rapid and secure deployment.
- US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance and in‑scope full‑scope polygraph required on Day 1
- 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in federal or defense environments.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++).
- Experience with secure coding practices and working in classified environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Gov Cloud, Azure Government) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and version control (Git).
- Must be willing to work 5 days per week in SCIF in Annapolis Junction, MD
- 1+ year of experience conducting software engineering work on AWS classified cloud architecture.
- Certifications such as Security+, AWS Certified Developer, or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience working within a high-performance compute environment.
