Yorktown Software Labs (YSL), a division of Yorktown Systems Group, Inc., is seeking an exceptional Technical Deputy to serve as the right-hand technical leader to the Director of Yorktown Software Labs. This role requires a seasoned technologist who can seamlessly transition between hands‑on development, strategic product leadership, and operational management. You will be responsible for driving technical initiatives from conception to market delivery while maintaining the highest standards of software craftsmanship and business acumen.

• Architect and implement scalable software solutions across the full technology stack
• Lead technical decision‑making and establish engineering best practices
• Drive code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing initiatives
• Mentor development teams and foster a culture of technical excellence

• Take ownership of product initiatives from ideation through market launch
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and technical specifications
• Manage product roadmaps, release planning, and go‑to‑market strategies
• Ensure products meet market demands while maintaining technical integrity

• Act as the Director's technical proxy in leadership meetings and strategic discussions
• Lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate with external partners
• Make critical technical and business decisions in the Director's absence
• Drive organizational initiatives including process improvements and team scaling
