Our team is looking for an experienced Lowboy CDL Driver to move materials, equipment, and oversized loads from one location to another, usually between cities or across state lines in support of our various construction projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. To succeed, you must ensure that you are living by MEB’s core values on the project every day and that quality, health, and safety standards on site are your top priority.

GUARANTEED 40 hours per week.
Core Areas of Responsibility.- Perform daily tasks as assigned by management to include, but not limited to efficiently operating equipment of all types including backhoe, excavators, bulldozers, loaders, etc. and all types of trucks including lowboy trailers and flatbed trailers.
- Work independently or as a team with management to obtain assignments and report incidents.
- Plan and organize routes and keep logs of trips.
- Assist in helping keep equipment including trucks in yard clean and organized.
- Transport different types of equipment and materials in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform inspections before and after assigned trips to prevent issues while traveling and on company property.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in driving heavy, industrial vehicles including manual trucks and low boy trailers
- A valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License with manual endorsement
- Effective communication and organization skills
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Strong hand-eye coordination while operating truck and loading equipment and materials, ensuring safe and accident-free trips.
- Good vision and ability to watch everything on the road for potential collisions, accidents and mishaps
- Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
- Working knowledge on how to use a GPS and/or map.
- Interpersonal competencies that include a drive for results, effective oral communication skills, organization, planning, trust, respect, being dependable and cooperation.
- Good housekeeping standards and ability to observe safety procedures and report any potentially unsafe conditions to management.
- Able to Pass a Drug Test
- Legally Eligible to Work in the US
- If assigned to a government project, US citizenship and clear background check may be required.
