Operate a medium-duty box truck (20-26 ft) to transport goods, load and unload cargo, perform pre-and post-trip inspections, and ensure timely, safe deliveries. Navigate local and regional routes,maintain accurate delivery logs, comply with DOT/OSHA requirements, and provide excellent customer service.
Daily Responsibilities- Driving & Delivery: Transport materials, freight, and products securely along planned routes.
- Loading & Unloading: Move cargo manually or with hand carts, pallet jacks, or a forklift.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tires, lights, brakes, andfluids.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and cargo documentation, and obtain delivery signatures.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- 1-2 years of related driving experience
