CAD​/Design Engineer Associate

Description

SAIC is seeking a CAD/ Design Engineer Associate to join our team in Hanahan, SC.

• Directs the activities and operation of the design engineers, drafters, and/or computer-aided design staff.
• Selects and monitors support for CAD engineers and technicians to ensure state-of-the-art applications and equipment by expansion of systems and linkage to automated test equipment.
• Oversees enhancement of software to company standards and practices, promotes expansion of applications for users.
• Manages engineers developing CAD systems for internal use.
• Monitors those who maintain the system and provides advice regarding problem areas and corrective action to be taken.
• Schedules systems usage and job flow.
• Works closely with the design engineers and technicians to ensure project are completed.
• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors and 0 years related experience.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a public trust.
