Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire alarm systems, NFPA codes, and electrical safety standards.

$18-$22 per hour

• Install and program fire alarm systems including panels, detectors, pull stations, and notification devices.
• Perform routine inspections and testing in accordance with NFPA 72 and local codes.
• Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm system components and wiring issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, service calls, and repairs.
• Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and building officials as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Respond to emergency service calls and perform corrective actions promptly.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in fire alarm installation and service.
• Familiarity with various fire alarm systems (e.g., Notifier, Simplex, Siemens).
• NICET certification (Level I or higher) is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
