GM Service Advisor

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, listen to concerns, and document vehicle service needs accurately.
• Prepare repair orders, estimate labor and parts requirements, and communicate recommended services clearly.
• Coordinate with technicians to review diagnoses, repair timelines, and completion status.
• Keep customers informed throughout the service process regarding approvals, updates, delays, and completion times.
• Explain completed repairs, maintenance recommendations, and invoice details in a clear and courteous manner.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, vehicle history, repair authorizations, and follow-up needs.
• Support scheduling, appointment management, and workflow coordination within the service department.
• Address customer questions and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach.
• Work closely with parts and service teams to help ensure timely ordering and delivery of needed components.
• Follow all company policies, safety practices, and service standards to support a high-quality customer experience.

• Previous experience in automotive service advising, customer service, or a related client-facing role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical information in simple terms.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Comfort using computer systems, scheduling tools, and service management software.
