The Industrial Maintenance Technician will assist with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment across the facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on mechanical and electrical work in a fast‑paced production environment.
Job Description Responsibilities- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production, processing, and packaging equipment.
- Assist with equipment disassembly, assembly, and general mechanical tasks.
- Diagnose issues on motors, pumps, industrial bearings, hydraulics, lubrication systems, and electrical components.
- Read and interpret schematics, prints, and technical documentation.
- Conduct daily equipment startup and monitor gauges, instrumentation, and system performance.
- Inspect equipment to identify potential issues before failures occur.
- Maintain an organized, clean maintenance shop and workspace.
- Perform routine facility repairs as needed.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, QA, and facility policies.
- Maintain reliable and punctual attendance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 6 months+ industrial maintenance experience preferred (or equivalent training/education).
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance procedures, safety documents, and equipment manuals.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to write basic reports and collaborate with teams.
- Comfortable working with measurements, basic algebra, geometry, and troubleshooting logic.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and schematics.
- Preferred: SACA certification(s).
