Job TitleRN – OB (Labor and Delivery / Antepartum & Postpartum)

Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
- Provide antepartum/antenatal and postpartum/postnatal care for maternity patients and normal newborns
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
- Apply professional and supervisory discretion in a fast-paced OB setting
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification required
- AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Prior acute care facility experience preferred
