CT Senior Technologist

Under the general direction of the Director of Radiology and the clinical supervision of the Radiologist performs MRI examinations on patients for the purpose of assisting in the diagnosis of the patient illness. Works closely with the director of radiology and radiologists to coordinate and perform technical procedures in the Department of Radiology. Coordinates the day-to-day activity of patient procedures and team member assignments for CT.

• Graduate of recognized, approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiologic technology required
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or achieved within 12 months of date of hire required
• CT registry or acquired within 12 months of hire date required
• 2 years experience performing CT exams and procedures preferred
• Works collaboratively with Radiologists to ensure maximum interpretation of exams.
• Ability to produce high quality special imaging with little supervision
• Certified in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Responsible for ensuring the safe transport of patient and self
• Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate communication with medical and technical personnel
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, initiate, and ensure patient services
