Licensed Insurance Agent - Sales

We are seeking a competitive individual to generate new business by contacting potential customers. You will sell and solicit insurance plans that meet the needs of the customers’ portfolio. You are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers and the community that ensure growth and opportunity for our business.

• Sell All Lines Including:
  Life, Home, Auto, Commercial, Farm and Ranch.
• Gather Necessary Information from prospective clients to generate a quote
• Make sales presentations and close sales
• Create and maintain a customer base
• Have a strong understanding of our current products and services
• Be flexible and available to meet with clients outside of the office and uphold a professional image, both in terms of dress and attitude, when doing so.
• Contribute to Agency Marketing efforts
• Create and maintain social media following to inform the public of company offerings.

• Base Salary $35,000-$40,000
• Weekly Pay
• Monthly Commission Pay

Hybrid, Flexible Schedule

Expected to be present at the New London Office 2-3 Times Monthly

• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Complete American Family’s 2 week required training on-site
• Must have valid Insurance License or be able to obtain one within one month of start date. License should include coverage for Life, Auto, Home, and Health.
• If licensing is required in additional states, other than MO and IL, agency will cover licensing costs.
• License Renewal Classes are offered by American Family.
• High School Diploma/GED or Higher
