Instructional Classroom Paraprofessional – Middle School

Role:
The Paraprofessional is under supervision of the Assigned Teacher, however, the Principal or Director of Student Services may assign specific responsibilities.

Reports to:

Building Principal and Assigned Teacher.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Paraprofessional Educator License (PEL or Educator License with
  Stipulations – Paraprofessional Endorsement) or other qualifications required by
  the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
• Experience working with middle school students preferred.
• Ability to support classroom instruction and reinforce academic concepts under
  the direction of certified staff.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with students and staff.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the
  position.
• Ability to fulfill the assigned temporary, part-time work schedule.

Compensation: $18.75 - $19.51 based on experience.
