End User Outside Technical Sales - Illinois

This position offers a base pay range of $45,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr. CMA/Flodyne/Hydradyne is a full-service distributor providing machine automation and control solutions across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical applications. Since 1974, we have been a locally owned company serving machine builders and industrial end users with leading technology from top manufacturers.

• Sell CMA/Flodyne/Hydradyne products and designed systems within your assigned accounts or territory.
• Develop relationships with maintenance teams, parts managers, purchasing, and engineering to increase business.
• Identify and solve issues such as high heat, contamination, or throughput, leading to sales of filtration, cooling products, and automation solutions.
• Develop new accounts through planning and executing sales calls, assessing customer needs, closing sales, and following up.
• Prepare quotes, including component sizing and selection to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in vendor training to become proficient in CMAFH product lines.
• Proactively seek new business opportunities and maintain a prospect list for growth.
• Coordinate with customer service, engineering, and sales management to deliver optimal solutions.
• Arrange vendor visits, product demonstrations, and factory tours as needed.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, 3+ years of industrial outside sales experience, and an engineering degree related to Mechanical, Fluid Power, or Electrical. College graduates with a strong interest and aptitude for learning our solutions are also encouraged to apply.
