We provide services across international, US federal, state, local, R&D tax credit, and private client services.
The Tax Supervisor role is based in Nashville, TN;
New York, NY;
Orlando, FL; or Whippany, NJ. You will work alongside seasoned CPAs and industry leaders to lead audit engagements from planning to completion, supervise staff, and maintain client relationships.
- Preparing complex multistate S corp. and partnership income tax returns
- Preparing high net worth individual returns
- Reviewing mid-level multistate complexity S corp. and partnership returns
- Reviewing mid-level individual returns
- Researching and drafting memoranda involving complex tax matters
- Identifying tax planning opportunities
- Handling and resolving tax controversies
- Training and supervising staff accountants
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Licensed CPA, or working toward CPA certification with parts passed
- Master’s of Science in Taxation preferred
- At least 4 years of public accounting experience
- Exceptional client service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects
- Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to travel as needed
Base salary ranges:
New York City $90,000 – $135,000;
Whippany NJ $85,000 – $125,000. Additional compensation may include a bonus program and a competitive benefits package based on individual and firm performance.
