Description & Requirements

This highly interactive executive assistant position is responsible for providing administrative expertise and support to select Public Fixed Income teams at Met Life Investment Management (MIM). The position will also be responsible for providing ad hoc support to other teams as needed. The executive assistant also plays a pivotal role in advancing strategic New Frontier initiatives, ensuring leaders can focus on high‑impact priorities.

This position requires attention to detail, flexibility, the ability to prioritize and multi‑task in an on‑site work environment. The individual must be able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. The individual is expected to maintain confidentiality and exhibit a high level of discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage schedules and coordinate both internal and external meetings for senior team members as well as members of the overall business on an ad‑hoc basis, ensuring coordination across time zones as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation and/or coordination of presentations, reports and spreadsheets by preparing and editing text, slides and other materials.
  • Organize electronic and soft copy documents and communications; assist with production and coordination of meeting materials, presentations, updates, and reports.
  • Manage domestic and (occasionally) international travel arrangements, expense reports, and track reimbursement.
  • Oversee certain office processes, including supply orders, catering requests, and the onboarding of new employees.
  • Coordinate IT support, assisting individuals with Help Desk interaction regarding IT‑related issues.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills
  • 3+ years of experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and recognize opportunities to improve and streamline processes.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self‑starter: ability to independently anticipate needs, plan for contingencies, manage concurrent tasks, prioritize tasks and follow‑up.
  • Flexibility to move between competing priorities as needed/directed.
  • Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite:
    Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and internet skills.
Preferred
  • High School diploma required;
    Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Insurance and Financial Services experience.
Location Expectation

This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short‑term incentive compensation and stock‑based long‑term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
