Our challenge is to develop and field next-generation helicopter search and rescue and other products, including the most capable rescue hoists and sensors for improving situational awareness. Breeze hires some of the most talented engineers in the industry, and we are seeking candidates who will bring a can‑do attitude and desire to succeed in the delivery of innovative aerospace and defense solutions to our customers.
Assists in the planning and development of production processes, work instructions, build books, tools, fixtures, and equipment necessary to manufacture products. Provides reviews of designs and processes for manufacturability and continuous improvement opportunities.
Duties- B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering with 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role; applicants with 0 years must have relevant internships or co‑ops and coursework in aerospace manufacturing or equivalent industry.
- Familiarity with CAD (Creo or equivalent) and GD&T drawing standards.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing techniques.
- Ability to perform in a fast‑paced environment with hands‑on requirements.
- Ability to interact with and instruct a broad spectrum of people, including technicians, machinists, suppliers, and customers.
- Knowledge of machining, material properties, etc., as it relates to the manufacture of component parts.
- Familiarity with electronics and electric circuits.
- Knowledge of electric motors and hydraulic motors, servo values, and hydraulic test equipment.
- Experience with aircraft and or military equipment.
- Understanding of aerospace standards and requirements.
- Familiarity with AS9100 Quality Management Systems and auditing.
- Experience in FAA/EASA certifications is a plus.
$98,000 - $115,000 (Salary based on years of experience, education, and certifications).
