Role Overview
Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Connective Rx is currently hiring for a Compensation Analyst role for a temporary assignment in Whippany, New Jersey
.
The Analyst, Compensation (TEMP) is responsible for reviewing job description and benchmarking to gather per grouping market data by geographic region. The incumbent conducts internal equity /external salary competitiveness by job and makes salary recommendations for hire or promotion to the Talent Team or HRBP's & management to ensure data integrity.
Essential Functions- Benchmarks revised and new job descriptions using the Payfactors system using the consistent peer groups and budget data cuts for all job matches. Provides meaningful recommendations for benchmark job extracted from the extrenal market.
- Edits and revises job descriptions and ensures accuracy of the correct DOL, FLSA classification and other related regulations to ensure legal compliance.
- Generates reports e.g., active staffing, goals (status and missing), internal equity salary comparison and costing analyses.
- Supports the workload of the compensation department and administers compensation programs i.e., slot new jobs in Payfactors system, administer compensation incentive programs.
- Participates in the weekly HRBP meeting, providing compensation matter updates and providing support to the HRBP's as needed.
- Firsthand knowledge of HR processes and policies.
- Knowledge of Ceridian Dayforce system is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office with emphasis in Excel Skills required.
- Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Knowledge of Human Resource laws regulations and best practices.
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to details.
- 2-4 years Compensation experience.
- Analytical thinking and mathematical skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and work independently as needed.
- Oral communication and written skills.
- Organizational and Project management skills.
- Problem-solving and technical expertise skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or Economics or related field.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) desirable.
