Job Title: Clinical Data Manager

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Responsibilities:

• Participate in or lead the review of Clinical Research (CR) documents, including protocols, reports, and statistical analysis plans, by collaborating with Project Managers, Clinical Scientists, and Statisticians.
• Lead data management activities by working with Clinical Scientists, CRAs, Safety Monitors, Systems Analysts, QC Analysts, and Standards Librarians. Draft Data Management Plans and Data Review Plans as needed.
• Develop and define standard and non-standard edit check specifications using clinical knowledge to create parameters for data items.
• Contribute to CRF/eCRF design, address technical issues, and develop data management reports.
• Lead Clinical Data Management activities, including reviewing eCRFs, issuing data queries, and cleaning data. Monitor data quality during the study.
• Ensure data snapshots are ready for analysis following DMP and SOP guidelines.
• Manage database lock/unlock procedures per established guidelines.
• Archive study databases and related documents according to SOPs.
• Prepare and present data management activities, evaluate new systems, and participate in task force initiatives.

Bachelor's degree plus 6+ years of relevant experience in the field. An advanced degree is preferred.
