The Senior Manager of Marketing Excellence is responsible for modernizing and improving the overall effectiveness of the US Marketing organization. This role requires executive presence, the ability to influence and inspire diverse stakeholders, strategic thinking, and a collaborative coaching style.
Responsibilities- Annual Needs Assessment:
Conduct a comprehensive assessment each year to identify learning and development needs of the US Marketing organization, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and evolving industry standards. - Objective Setting & Roadmap Creation:
Develop clear learning and development objectives for the US organization and establish a strategic roadmap, defining critical topic areas and program offerings to address both immediate and long-term capability gaps. - TB4L Initiative
Collaboration:
Partner closely with cross‑functional teams on TB4L initiatives, contributing expertise and supporting the implementation of key talent‑building programs across the organization. - Subject Matter Expertise & Mentorship:
Serve as a subject matter expert across all brands, engaging directly in significant projects and initiatives to provide strategic guidance, hands‑on coaching, and real‑time mentorship for team members at all levels. - Training Program Administration:
Oversee spending for classroom‑style training initiatives, ensuring adherence to departmental budgets; source or create impactful training materials utilizing various formats and media to enhance learning outcomes. - Event Planning & Facilitation:
Plan, organize, and facilitate employee learning and development events, managing logistics, ordering necessary materials, and ensuring a high‑quality training experience with support from the facilities and admin team. - Internal Learning Communication Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan for internal learning and development activities; maintain up‑to‑date information on platforms such as Teams and SharePoint and create newsletters to keep all staff informed about upcoming training opportunities and resources. - Program Evaluation & Follow‑Up:
Conduct thorough follow‑up studies and evaluations for all completed training initiatives to measure effectiveness, capture participant feedback, and assess impact on performance. - Continuous Improvement:
Refine and optimize training programs based on evaluation results and organizational feedback to ensure ongoing relevance, effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems and make impactful decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and present complex information to all levels within the organization from entry to senior level leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross‑functional teams in a highly collaborative environment.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in consumer goods and/or health care marketing.
- Experience in Health Care Professional Marketing or Innovation.
- Experience in project management.
- Learning and development experience / instructional design.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $ and $. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
