Overview
Casa Blanca located inside Casa de Montecristo by JR Cigar is looking for a Server. The ideal candidate will have 1 year experience in bar / restaurant along with being available to work a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends and some Holidays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Attend to customers upon entry
- Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue bills and accept payment
- Promote dedication from customers
- Other duties assigned
Qualification/Skills
- Proven restaurant serving or waitress experience
- Customer-oriented approach and patience
- Problem solving and decision-making skills
- Hands on experience in cashier duties
- Excellent people skills
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
Work Environment Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to smoke or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/ or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel or sit; the employee must frequently lift and/ or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus
